Ingredients:
4 small cans Hunts
4 14 oz. cans Hunts tomato sauce
4 cans Campbell’s tomato soup
4 pounds ground beef
1 onion, diced
1 clove garlic…whole
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
Brown ground beef and onion together, stirring until golden then add everything else and simmer all day over very low heat.
Be sure to scoop out the garlic clove at the end because nobody should accidentally bite into it. :) The baking soda is to prevent heartburn from all those wild ingredients. For a family from Ireland, this truly was a culinary adventure, and even today we love it.
