This weekend I got my cover to Take A Chance, Cowboy! I really like this cover and am so pleased to be able to share it. It makes the wait for March that much harder! Also, I'm sharing the unedited and unofficial blurb, but it'll give you an idea what this story is all about.

Now for my other news. You may or may not know that Amazon has been cracking down on risque book covers. Hearing this, I figured it was only a matter of time before they focused in on my original Grading on Curves cover. Well, it happened. They slapped an adult filter on it which meant it no longer showed up on casual contemporary romance searches. Even worse, it wasn't included on my roster of titles either. I checked. A customer would have to follow a direct link or specifically search for it before it showed up. This was an unfortunate ruling because Grading on Curves is a lovely story about a divorced mom finding love again with the sexy science teacher at her son's school. It's both touching and realistic to watch these two fall in love - and yes, it's sensual and sexy too, but certainly didn't merit an adult warning just to view the book.

I still liked the concept of the classroom for the cover, along with the science hints on the chalkboard, but clearly the curvy woman's silhouette had to go. They left us no choice. So we mulled it over and came up with a fun and flirty compromise. This image suits the story beautifully since Mia dresses in jeans when she's out with Curt and there's a scene where he gently chides her for wearing heels when she stumbles backwards into him at a bookstore.

I rather like this new cover. Hope you like it too.
