Getting Excited!

by Stephanie Beck

Summer is so fantastic. I live in Minnesota, so summer is a big deal for me. Summer means sunshine and hot days and sunshine and going to the beach and sunshine...yeah, I miss being able to enjoy the sunshine when it is soooo cold.

We put in a patio last year, and my favorite thing is to take my notebook out and write while my kiddos play. I inevitably get pulled into a soccer game, but I usually get a few words in. This summer I'm hoping to get some serious writing done:

Sequel to Poppy's Passions--SaraJean needs a story (don't remember SaraJean--go read Poppy's Passions again, I'll wait)

Something about Hawaii, because I'm fascinated with the island life lately (or I really, really need a vacation)

Something paranormal--I'm thinking werewolves because I like them. A lot.

And between the new writing, I'll be promoting up a storm and giving away a lot of great stuff, so keep an eye out for my part in the Psychic Seductions Anthology coming from Beachwalk in July. You need to be keeping up with Beachwalk authors this summer--the good reads and prizes are all over the place.

In the meantime, happy reading!

Everything is coming up Poppy by Stephanie Beck

Ahhh, summer (well, almost summer). I was ready for this kind of weather. I was ready for sunshine and shorts and popsicles on the back porch. And so far, it has not disappointed. Sure, the bug ratio is crazy high this year--or maybe I just put that part out of my mind when I'm dreaming of summer.

Anyway, my flowers are blooming like crazy, and this year, I planted poppies! I love them. They are beautiful and a lovely addition to my gardens and pots. They are inspiring too. They make me think of what my next Poppy's Place story will be like. Who will get the story? What will they do? So far, Poppy and Mary have novels, and Poppy has a few novellas. Now, with the sunshine and new beginnings I'm in the mood to start something...bright.

So, while I'm thinking, catch up with Poppy and her family, so you'll be ready when the new 'something' is ready.

Happy Summer!

Poppy's Passions by Stephanie Beck
Can Poppy find the courage to risk triple the love—and triple the heartbreak?

Poppy Maguire is tired of being a loser. Emotionally neglected as a child, she wants to find the courage to leave her family and the job she hates. She desperately wants to make a change. Little does she realize how much of a change sexy brothers Cody, Michael, and Trevor Paraby will bring to her life when the friendly shoulders they offer turn into so much more.

Comfort turns to passion and Poppy learns what life could be like in the arms of not one, but three men who love her. But what happens when the pink line on a pregnancy test doubles and she's expecting twins, courtesy of one of the Parabys?

The brothers blow her mind by offering her the family and love she's always longed for. But do they realize what they're in for? Cody is moving a little too fast, Michael may not be in for the long haul, and Trevor is a bit self-centered. In order for Poppy to have the extraordinary love she fears she hasn't earned, everyone is going to have to do some growing. But can she break free from the bad seed of her abusive family and have the courage to bloom?

Mary's Men
Three husbands—a dream come true or a pipe dream destined to break them all?

Mary Duncan likes to think she's as open as any modern 1960's woman, but when her boyfriend presents his vision of "family" she finds herself between twin brothers and a cousin—all willing to love her if she'll have them…together.

Loving Thomas and Paul comes easily, the sexy twins everything she'd never hoped to dream. If not for her new mother-in-law, the gossiping townsfolk, and the wall of silence from her own family, Mary would be in Montana heaven. Just as the young group finally start to find their footing with the new relationship, Duane Paraby returns from Vietnam, reluctant to join the relationship, but an integral part Mary refuses to give up.

When confrontation explodes around them, threatening to terminate their bonds before they're even set, Paul, Thomas, and Duane will have to prove they have what it takes to be Mary's men.

I googled myself, and I liked it by Stephanie Beck

I once confessed to a friend that I google my friends, which led to the logical question of whether or not I google myself. Well sure I do! It's the twenty-first century, I'm a modern woman not afraid to be in touch with my...wait, wrong argument. Of course I google myself, it's for work--there's the one, I wanted!

So, what happens when I googled myself this time? Well, I got an eyeful with a really great blog that features Poppy's Passions!

"A Submissive's Initiative" did a piece on "Hotwives/Cuckholding" and boy did I learn a few things! Here's the blog if you're interested in a wee bit of erotic education, or at least this lady's experience with it. Super Hot Blog .

You read, I'll wait......

Oh good, you're back. Yowsa, right? Be sure to join the conversation over there if you have questions or thoughts. Sophie has been wonderful moderating and visiting.

Anyway, so that's what I found when I googled myself (Sophie also kindly contacted me, which was really nice).

So.....confession time. Have you googled yourself? Find anything interesting? Share, share, share!

All the best,
