Monday Morning Frantic

Happy Monday Morning! Or at least I hope it is. I woke up thinking a snake was on my back. Somehow something touched my back and I instantly thought it was a slithery, slimy snake! eek! I tossed the covers off, sat straight up, and pushed my hand back and forth looking for the nasty thing. The sun wasn't up. Now if I were to find a real snake, I think I'd have peed myself.

Once I discovered there in fact wasn't a snake, I attempted to plop my head back down on the pillow and go back to sleep. But by then, my mind was up and active. So I drug myself out of the bed, down the stairs, and to the coffee maker. I then remembered it was Monday...and yesterday was Sunday. Which means, I forgot to get online yesterday and schedule all my blog posts. *Smacks head* So in return, you get a nice detail of my morning so far.

I am counting down until August 7th. The kids go back to school. I must confess, I'm a schedule type of person and this summer, we've not had one. Mother confession: My kids went over a week without baths. Agh! One night it dawned on me it had been awhile since I said, "Go take a shower." Then I counted back and was mortified I'd let me kids go so long. :/ And here I shower daily.

Hopefully once school gets back in session, I'll get back to being organized. How do people do this everyday? I feel like a chicken running around with it's head cut off. I feel like I'm always forgetting something.

Happy Monday! Let's hope it's a good one!

  3. I remember playing in the bathtub when I was little. I had bathtub toys. So for me, bath time was fun. Maybe if they had a good time in the tub, they'd remember it themselves, cause they would look forward to it...and no more stinky kids. LOL
