Valentine's Day is right around the corner so I thought I would talk about seduction.
I have a short story in the Love, Again Valentine's Day Anthology called Vows. In this story my leading lady Addison Klein is a mother of two young girls and her marriage to Tyler is a mess. She is debating if it's time to call it quits and walk away or stay for the sake of her children. The death of best friend puts her in a tail spin. After a fight with Tyler and a panic attack at work she gets some guidance for her guardian angel. Addison will go through a journey and rediscover herself and let go of the past. Her guardian angle helps her realize that the Vows that she said on her wedding day, "For as long as we both shall live," mean something to her after all. Addison can't remember the last time her and Tyler were intimate,or when he just touched her in some way. She's determined to change that and sets out to seduce her husband.
In Vows, Addison does a number of things to stage the perfect night of seduction. She arranges a sitter for over night, makes Tyler's favorite dinner, chills some wine, soaks in the tub and shaves, lites candles around the bedroom, has her Ipod ready with mood music, wears a sexy dress with lingerie underneath, and puts rose petals on the bed.
My Addison went a bit overboard, but she had the right idea.
My question for all of you is...
Have you ever set a seduction scene? If so leave a comment and share with us what you did and let us know if it was successful or not? Okay, I'm sure it was successful! ;)
I wish you all a happy and seductive Valentine's Day!
See you in two weeks!
