New Year, New Start.

We all try to start a new year with a clean slate. We resolve to lose weight, give up smoking/drinking or try something new. However, we invariably get so stressed with the resolutions we set ourselves we, more often than not, end up failing.

Our new year becomes rather miserable at that point. So this year I'm dealing with things a little differently, and think you all should join me. See, I'm pregnant and in May of the new year I'll be having my third child. I know my stress level will go crazy from that point on, so from until until then I'm taking each day as it comes. I'm setting no unreachable targets, I'm simply going to enjoy being me!

I've even supplied you with a delicious bit of man candy to help you on your way.

Banana Berry Boost

3/4 Cup apple juice
3/4 Cup strawberry juice
2/3 Cup frozen blueberries
1 Sliced banana
1 Scoop rasberry sherbet
1 Scoop nonfat vanilla frozen yogurt
1 Cup crushed ice

Blend ingredients until smooth.

  2. Hats off to you lady - number 3! Fantastic. Will be trying out that yummy smoothie - speaking of daft things you do in the hope of 'getting healthy' in the New Year - I signed up for a 5k run tomorrow... tomorrow...! what have I done...?

  3. I probably should try to loose a few, but I don't want to diet. I just need to start working out again. But, I don't do resolutions. I like you know they never last. I've been trying to loose 10 pounds for 3 years. It ain't going no where!
