My New Beachwalk Press Cover

I wanted to share my new cover for my upcoming Beachwalk Press release Embracing the Unexpected. Isn't it hot?

That's my men...Jace and Parker. I have to be honest, I didn't think I'd ever get this story told. It wasn't that it took me long to pen the story. It was more about me believing I could pull it off. Writing a m/m was totally stepping out of my comfort zone. I had to dig deep for this one and often felt challanged in my journey. But, I'm so glad I decided to follow through because what I've created is a beautiful love story between two very caring and emotional men. Jace and Parker have become my all time favorite couple that I've written to date.

If you're a fan of the m/m genre. I hope you'll fall in love with them, too.

Sometimes love can be found where we least expect it.

Successful attorney Parker Phillips has always been straight, but he's having trouble finding the right woman. Failed relationship after failed relationship has proven that.

Brilliant and charismatic Dr. Jace Cross is comfortable in his sexuality, but has been single for some time. He throws himself into his work to fill the lonely void. He's drawn to Parker in ways he knows he shouldn't be.

When one bad decision lands Parker in Jace's court-appointed anger management course, sparks fly. Parker isn't willing to embrace his feelings. Can the sexy doctor help him discover who he truly is?

Embracing the Unexpected will be available with Beachwalk Press on December 19, 2011.

  1. Hey Ella. Embracing the Unexpected looks like a great story. It really calls on our creative imaginations to write something we have not personally experienced. At one point I was criticized for writing an IR story because I wasn't in a mixed race relationship myself! Just think how small and stunted fictional works would be if we could only write about things we knew first hand. Good for you for expanding your world and inviting us inside.
