Tuesday Tips

Now that summer is in full gear you probably find yourself getting invited to impromptu picnics and parties. I have two really quick and tasty appetizers that are perfect to take to the local BBQ or a girls night out party.

Both dips can be served with nacho style chips.

Sausage Dip

1 lb ground sausage (I use Jimmy Dean or Bob Evans)
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
1 (10 ounce) can Rotel,Tomatoes with Chili peppers (liquid drained out)

Brown sausage in skillet (drain grease).
Add cream cheese and cook over medium heat until melted.
Add Rotel and mix well.

Serve warm with chips.

If you thought the above recipe was simple wait until you see this one. It's always a huge hit too...

Salsa Dip

1 Jar Salsa
1 package cream cheese (softened)
Mix the two ingredients together and chill for two hours.

Serve with chips.

How easy are they?
