I have a pretty exciting Monday ahead of me. Not only is Crossfire of Love, my third novel with Beachwalk Press releasing, but I'm also sharing that day with brand-spankin' new author Tamaria Soana. Tamaria's debut novel Obsession is set to release on Monday as well.
I think that day will be a bit surreal for both of us. Tamaria and I came to this rodeo already knowing one another. We met about two and a half years ago when the two of us were reading/writing fanfiction. We slowly developed an on-line friendship, read one another's stories and even ran a blog together where we recommended and reviewed fanfiction stories. While I've never met Tamaria in person, we chat everyday and I consider her a great friend. It has gotten to the point where my day isn't complete if I haven't heard from her. She even goes so far as to text me if I haven't logged on at a certain point in the morning. She thinks I'm going to jump off some proverbial ledge. lol
It's been a kooky ride, but I'm thrilled we both ended up at Beachwalk Press. Congratulations, Tamaria! I'm so proud of you! I look forward to seeing you through many releases! Thanks for always being there for me.
To celebrate this special day for us, we're throwing a release party on Monday, March 19, 2012 over on the Beachwalk Press Yahoo Group. We want to share our excitement! We'll be chatting, answering reader questions and giving away copies of our books as well as a few other prizes.
Sign up today, so you'll be ready to roll with us...
I'll leave you with a blurb from Crossfire of Love...
Can an arranged marriage lead to love?
Recent college graduate Gabriella has finally married the man of her dreams, the older, charismatic attorney Lorenzo Martinez. She's had a crush on him for as long as she can remember and always imagined they'd one day find their happily ever after. Unfortunately, they enter into a union arranged by their fathers.
Lorenzo is charming, protective, and loyal to his crime lord father Carlo. When Carlo asks Lorenzo to marry Gabriella he jumps at the opportunity. He's been drawn to her for many years and knows by marrying her he's helping to protect her father.
Gabby is resentful and won't be Lorenzo's charity case. But sparks fly and the couple soon gives into their desire, realizing they were meant to be together.
What happens when Carlo's enemies threaten their future? Will someone get caught in the crossfire?
Hope to chat with you on Monday!
