One weekend—no strings, no expectations, and no commitments. On Sunday afternoon it all ends, or does it?

No-nonsense businessman Spencer Cannon has a dilemma. He's headed to Connecticut for the weekend to attend his cousin's elaborate wedding. His whole family will be there in addition to his obsessed ex-girlfriend Ava. According to Spencer's brother, Ava has been telling her friends she's planning a magical reunion with her favorite ex-boyfriend. Spencer's not in the mood to deal with her, but he can't miss the wedding. He needs a plan.

Struggling Brooklyn waitress and aspiring graphic designer Dakota Vercelli has fallen on hard times. College debts, pending eviction, and her sick mother are taking a toll on her. A chance encounter with Mr. Cannon, CEO of Cannon and Carrington Advertising, leads to a proposition that may be just the thing to solve both of their problems. Spencer's offer—spend four days with him during the wedding festivities and keep his ex off his trail. In return, he'll compensate her generously for her time. He needs a weekend girlfriend, and Dakota needs the cash.

It was just supposed to be a business deal, but after sharing a room, kissing under the stars, and attending a wedding, their attraction is undeniable. Will the illusion end when the weekend is over or is the proposition just the beginning?

Tantalising Tuesday with Tabitha

Click pic for tour stops
Hello everyone! I've just been touring my new book, The Meeting Point - it's the last in the ... so if you like your dystopian future peppered with lots of sexy action, look no further! Here's a list of all my tour stops.
Clockwork Butterfly trilogy

Here's a snippet where Deborah meets her lover for the first time in eight long years... she's broken into the place where he's been held and is about to knock on his door.

The Meeting Point excerpt – The final book in The Clockwork Butterfly trilogy

Deborah's stomach fluttered and lurched at the same time as the guard walked away, leaving her alone in the corridor so close to her lover. Her legs felt heavy and frail, and she leaned forward, hands on knees, to catch her breath. Keep control now, she told herself while her spirit threatened to desert her. Closing her eyes, she inhaled and stood up straight. She strode toward the door and stopped, her heart sinking. Of course, it would be locked, wouldn't it? Cursing herself for being so naïve, she tried the handle and was amazed when it clicked and the door clunked open.
"Who's there?" Marcus snapped from inside. "I told you, I've had enough tonight. I'm tired."
With trembling arms, Deborah pulled the heavy door toward her.
He was hunched forward in a chair by the bed facing away from her. Deborah watched him slump further when the door squeaked open a little more.
"Please," he said, his voice weary and quiet, "leave me alone."
A lump swelled in Deborah's throat as she stepped over the threshold. "It's me," she whispered, but no sound came out. The atmosphere darkened.
Marcus rose violently and threw the chair to the floor. Deborah almost choked with fright.
He turned angrily, his black robe billowing, making him look sinister as a raven. "I said," he snarled, teeth bared, and Deborah tried her best to stand her ground, but fear melted her limbs and she slumped to the floor, shaking.
In a breath, he was cradling her. Hands stroking her face and hair, exploring her, searching her.
"Is it you?" He took her by the shoulders and squeezed her hard. "Is it… Is it really you?"
Pain, longing, terror, and love streaked across his face all at once and Deborah began to grow under the glare.
"Yes," she whispered, her voice not letting her down this time. "Yes, it's me. I'm here, Marcus, I'm here."
He pulled her into his chest and wept over her hair. Deborah inhaled his scent, wrapping her arms around his torso and up under his sweater as he rocked her back and forth.
"Oh God, how I've missed you."
The words came out in great sobs and Deborah was overwhelmed at his reaction. She squeezed tighter, hoping it would hold his emotions together and not send him spiraling out of control.
"I've searched for such a long time. Such a long time. I thought I'd never hold you again."
She could barely breathe, inhaling shallow hiccup breaths as he squeezed. If she wanted to, she could slip through, right through, into the very soul of him right now. It was a tantalizing thought and she let her physical self go.
"No!" She was being shouted at and shaken. "Wake up! Deborah, my God. I'm sorry."
Deborah came to, scared once again by his strength and size. What was going on here? Had he lost all sense of scale? Deborah put her hands to her chest and breathed in reviving air, air revved and electric with his aura.
He was smoothing her hair gently once more, his eyes filled with fear. "I thought I'd killed you. I'm so sorry. I—"
Deborah leaned into his lips, tasting her true love for the first time in eight long years. It was the same exquisite Marcus and her mouth watered for his kiss. It came. Soft at first, then hard and fast, devouring her lips, skimming her teeth with his tongue and tangling up in hers. She met him lick for lick, mouths undulating together with need, sorrow, regret, and joy. Deborah couldn't believe the whirlwind of emotions being explored through this one kiss. The kiss where souls collide…

Blurb – The Meeting Point

Tantalizing Tuesday with Tabitha

Hello lovely Beachwalkers!

I just launched my newest book with Beachwalk yesterday! Here's a bit about it and some saucy action to whet your appetite - I hope you enjoy x x x

Here's a little snippet... it is at the point where Deborah and Marcus first discuss a new spiritual way to enjoy sex called Ultimate Unity and follows a sexy voyeuristic adventure in the trees.

Deborah woke back in their shelter at the camp. It was late afternoon, and her body ached in that satisfying way as if she’d been working out at the gym. Then she remembered just how worked out she had been. The shroud of sleep began to lift and she blinked her eyes open to see Marcus smiling down at her with a self-satisfied air.
“Was it you back there?” Deborah perched up on one elbow and picked a piece of apple from the plate he offered. As the sticky-sweet flesh rolled over her tongue she was suddenly ravenous. “Was it, Marcus?” she pleaded, trying her best not to let guilt or paranoia spoil the incredible thing that had just happened to her. “Were you watching me from the bushes?”
He dropped his head and couldn’t look her directly in the eye.
“It was someone else, wasn’t it?” She gasped, reality sinking in. “Was it Birch?”
Marcus finally looked at her through his hair, his mouth curling into a small smile despite what looked like his efforts to stop it. He nodded.
Deborah began to tremble in a way she thought was shock or anger. They’d never shared each other before, ever, not even a kiss. But then, as he drew her into the most secure, comforting embrace, she realized it was excitement. It was the same feeling she’d had that morning while being fondled and caressed by Hazel before being lead to the clearing.
“I don’t understand,” she said.
He lowered her back onto the bed and lay beside her, running his fingers over her body, massaging her breasts then stroking her shoulders, neck, arms. She felt like a cat, purring on a sunny ledge, and just let herself fall into that sweet oblivion of sensation.
“I want us to have what they have,” he said slowly and quietly, but not gently enough to disguise the lust that flirted at the edges of his words. “I want to own you in the way he owns her, and I want you to own me in the way she owns him.”
“What do you mean? We do belong to each other.” She reached up and cupped his jaw.
“Yes, I know,” he said, bringing her even closer in to him. “But I want a bond that transcends all else. I want to know that no matter where we are, who we’re with, or what we’re doing, the bond between us will be unbreakable.”
“You’re not making sense, Marcus, and I’m tired.” She tugged herself free and rolled to face away from him, suddenly offended at what he had said. “It’s like you’re dismissing what we already have. And I think we’ve got something pretty special.” She was angry, but again she’d confused her own state of mind and realized what she felt was fear. What Marcus was saying scared her. He’d been making plans for when they were captured and separated. She started to cry.
He reached out for her, holding her, soothing her.
“Birch and Hazel have been preparing their bond for months, years even.” He pulled her around to face him once more. “They want to know that, no matter what happens to their physical selves, they will always be together spiritually. They are striving to reach an emotional unity so intense that when they come, they are each other.”
“You know I’m a scientist, right?” Deborah smiled and poked him, trying to get him to see how crazy he sounded.
“Yes, and I’m a skeptical agnostic, but you can’t deny they are amazing.”
Deborah brought the past few days—could it be weeks?—to mind. The discussions the four of them had around the fire each night were philosophical, theological, sexual, scientific—never personal. Neither couple had inquired about the other’s situation or reasons for being there, exiled in the wood, or ventured their own story. It was like the code of the forest. It actually freed up a lot of space for getting right into the debates on life, existence, and all the good stuff. Deborah had found it scintillating and refreshing and had relished the talks. Marcus, though, seemed to have gleaned a lot more about the sexual spiritual side than she had. While she’d been thinking about the existence of God, he’d been wondering about fucking. She smiled to herself; she could only think after the best, most intense orgasm of her life that one of them had been the fool all this time, and it wasn’t him.
“So how do we do it?”

Tiny snippet
If we part ways,” he started but Deborah pressed a finger to his lips, she didn’t want to hear it, speaking it might make it true. He pushed her hand from his face and held it at his chest, his woozy gaze fixed on hers. “Deborah, if we part ways, I’ll find you. I’ll find you at the meeting point. Do everything you can to come. We are more than the physical.”

Taking Flight by Tabitha Rayne
The prequel to
A Clockwork Butterfly
Genre(s): Futuristic Erotic Romance
Price: $4.99
Lovers on the run in search of a bond that transcends all else.
Dr. Deborah Regan is a scientist working on a cure to the poison that's killing the male population and destroying the natural world. But when she makes a breakthrough in her research, it becomes clear that the authorities have no intention of finding a cure, and now that she's getting closer to an answer, she's a threat to them—a threat they need to deal with quickly.
Deborah and her partner, Marcus, flee to the forest where they meet another couple on the run. Birch and Hazel show them how to survive in the wild and teach them the theory of ultimate unity. They believe that by finding sexual nirvana at the point of intense orgasm, they will break through the barriers of physicality and become one.
It soon becomes apparent that Deborah has an aptitude for falling into this trance-like state, and she manages to bring Marcus on her journey. Their spirits can indeed join together at the meeting point, suspended in time and space while they climax.
When Birch and Hazel become jealous of the young couple's ease at reaching ultimate unity—something they've unsuccessfully tried to do for years—they betray Deborah and Marcus to the authorities. As they are separated, Marcus begs Deborah to continue to search for the ultimate sexual unity, because he's convinced that no matter where they are, this connection will allow them to meet again on a spiritual plane.
Will this metaphysical union be enough for a couple so deeply in love?

One-on-one instruction never felt so right—or so wrong.

There's nothing unusual about Mia Page's attraction to the young science teacher at the middle school. After all, she's not the only one who finds him enticing. But when he pulls her son aside to ask for her phone number, she knows she's in serious trouble. Since her divorce four years earlier, she's been out of circulation, choosing to focus on parenting instead, and she's not entirely sure she can handle an entanglement with the sexy Mr. Walden.

There are also other reasons why getting involved with Curt would be a bad idea. He's two years shy of thirty, and she's on the downside of that unmentionable number. He's adamant about never having kids, and she has a son. Even the guy's romantic gifts are suspect. Energy saving light bulbs? He has to be kidding.

On the other hand, he's fun, sweet, and smart. He stimulates her intellectually, emotionally, and Lord help her, physically, opening her eyes to life outside her comfortable world. Yet their differences quietly gnaw at Mia even while she succumbs to their undeniable chemistry.

As their romance deepens, so do Mia's fears that Curt will eventually hurt her. On edge, all it takes is an innocent comment to provoke her into drawing first blood. Mia recklessly wounds Curt, learning only too late that this blade cuts both ways. Frantic to make amends, she fears it might be too late to admit the feelings she's tried so hard to suppress.

Tantalising Tuesday with Tabitha

I'm so excited to be here and give you a tasty taster!
I'm Tabitha Rayne and I haven't posted for a little while, but I'm super excited to reveal that Beachwalk Press will be publishing Finding Unity, the final book in my Meeting Point Trilogy in May this year. I'm going through the edits right now and really enjoying it.
To give you a teaser of what's to come I'm sharing a little from A Clockwork Butterfly, the first book in the series.
Thanks for having me along!

Blurb
Lena Lee is a new collector with a rare pheromone believed to reignite human fertility. She's assigned a male who's predicted to be her perfect match.
Angelo, a clockwork butterfly maker, is held captive, his essence harvested daily by Lena. Over time, the couple begins to fall in love, something which is strictly prohibited. When their forbidden love is discovered, Lena is banished from the manor.
Torn apart by the duty that brought them together, Lena and Angelo must find a way back to each other. But even if Angelo manages to escape, he doesn't know where to find Lena. Will following the path of the clockwork butterfly lead him to his true love?
Taster - where Lena meets the clockwork butterfly for the first time...
“Kiss the proboscis,” Angelo said softly.
Really?”
Uh-huh,” he urged again, and Lena leaned toward the metal tube. “Use your tongue. There needs to be saliva.”
Lena felt ridiculous, but did as he said, licking tentatively at the tiny curled spear.
There,” he said, satisfied, and held the creature to the window, which barely opened six inches. “Now, watch.”
And Lena did. The butterfly fell for an instant, then the wings began to whir into action, lifting it chaotically upward until it found some balance. It was incredibly realistic and mimicked the stuttering, yet graceful, flight of a real butterfly.
It’s incredible,” Lena exclaimed, excited and scared at the same time as the little insect flew higher and around the top of an oak tree. “Where’s it going?”
You’ll see.” The male smiled, placing a hand on her shoulder.
Lena moved a little closer, allowing her body to absorb his heat. Shielding her eyes to get a clearer view, she watched the butterfly weave and dip through the air back toward the window. To her astonishment, the little creature flew back in to the room and landed delicately on her shoulder. It flapped slowly once or twice then came to rest. Lena just stood holding her breath while the male smiled.
It’s a homing Lepidoptera,” he explained. “It travels to its genetic partner. That’s you.”
Lena touched her lip then the proboscis that held her DNA.
What are you called?” she asked, realizing suddenly that she didn’t know.
Angelo,” he said, looking shy again.
Lena regarded him carefully. “It’s perfect,” she said, and an electric silence descended over the two.
Is the duty complete?” A crackling voice filled the room and startled Lena. She instinctively flew into Angelo’s arms.
What’s that?” she asked, her ears ringing with the invasive noise.
That’s Archmatria Jones. She’s just checking up on us.”
Lena felt a little sick. An image of a wizened, beak-nosed shrew hunched over a monitor flooded her brain.
Oh my God, they can’t see us, can they?” She broke free from Angelo and peered around the room for cameras.
No. I don’t think so.” Angelo strode to the door and pressed a button on the wall. “Incomplete at this time. We will report back in due course.”
May I remind you of the importance of your swift emission.”
We will report back in due course,” he said, more firmly this time, and Lena was pleased to see that, even in his imprisoned state, he knew his value. Angelo released the intercom and came back to Lena. “Well, I think maybe it’s time…”
Lena trembled as his fingers reached out to her kimono obi. He was shaking too, obviously wishing they could talk more, get to know each other. The easy manner they’d slipped into was now disappearing in the growing anticipation.
Are you all right?” he asked her tenderly.
She nodded, noticing a peak rising at his crotch. The effect on her was instant. Her nipples tightened as he slowly peeled the silk down past them. A soft, low groan left his throat, and Lena inhaled his musky scent. She reached out and stripped him of his robe, burying her face into the base of his neck, trying to tease out another delicious moan. His neck was hot and his scent made her mouth water. She bit into his flesh and suckled, relishing the new manly odors that were overtaking her senses.
I’m fine,” she whispered as he pulled her into a strong embrace and kissed her, fully engulfing her lips in his.

His arousal was unmistakable, pressing into her through the scant fabric, and she tugged his kimono off his shoulders and down his back while the searing kisses continued into her hairline and neck. She shuddered as his tongue flicked at the most erogenous part just at the base of her earlobe. Melting feelings of pure desire made her feel weak as she tried to keep disrobing Angelo. Heat pulsed between her legs and she ground herself into his hardness. He responded by meeting her thrusts, gently at first, then with more vigor, humping and grinding, knocking her off balance until they tumbled together onto the sofa. It felt wonderful to have something as mighty and solid as this male between her legs and she wrapped them firmly around his torso. She realized he had come free from his kimono and his flesh met hers, slipping against her wet lips and inner thighs. The groan came again as the tip of him pressed at her twitching entrance. She held her breath as they stared at each other. Was this really about to happen?...

Show and tell!

Hello Spicy Authors and Readers!

Gosh, it's been a while and I've got a lot of catching up to do... I've been away in hiding trying to get this novel of mine finished - it's the prequel to A Clockwork Butterfly and I may have just hit the wall! Marathon writing can do that sometimes...grrrr - for me anyway ;/

This week was a biggy for me as I received my paperback copies of my book from Beachwalk - I had only seen it as an ebook or on my PC so I didn't really know what to expect for its physical arrival.

I thought it would be a little thin book with not many pages - the first clue that this might not be the case was the weight of the box - Wow! The books are lush, sexy and packed full of lovely big pages! It was an odd sensation seeing and feeling something I had created as an actual 'thing'.

So to the theme of this blog - show and tell - now, I write erotic romance - explicit and with more than one or two naughty words thrown in... my gran is fully aware of this but because my books are almost always eBooks - I have been safe from exposing her to the actual writing as she doesn't have a reader or a PC - she's my biggest fan despite never having read anything by me!

So I told her the books had arrived - "Wonderful," says she, "Where is it then, hand it over!" I explained the nature of the content and she told me that being three times my age (almost) maybe she'd heard or read about some of these things already and that it took a lot to shock her...

So - here goes... now for my friends!

oh, PS - you can get A Clockwork Butterfly in paperback for a discount and free shipping right now at Beachwalk... - hope you enjoy!

Keeping Up!

Hi here Spicy friends! My post will probably be a bit of a muddled ramble as I'm just trying to keep up with everything right now...
I've been writing the prequel to my novel, A Clockwork Butterfly for a while (waaaay tooo long) but sometimes that's just the way it goes - sometimes 'the real world' need some attention too.
Writing a novel length book can sometimes be quite a lonely time where you feel like nothing's going on in your 'career'. That's why I usually try to break it up with submitting short stories here and there - just to keep in touch and not feel completely isolated.
Recently though, my big WIP has had to take second place to a few anthology releases... what's that phrase? - You wait hours on a bus then three come at once...
So I should really let you know about them!
The first is Smut By The Sea -  a glorious seaside anthology of saucy stories. MA Stacie and I are two Beachwalkers included. My tale, Una's Retreat - about a woman just wanting time out from her hectic life and finding a little romancing might be all the medicine she needs...
And then there's My First Threesome - a joyous anthology from Ravenous Romance celebrating - well, you guessed it...
There will be another in a couple of days Backstage Rider - and it will be free on Amazon - so keep an eye out for my announcements... ;)

Thanks for stopping by and have a lovely saucy day x x T

Books, blogs, relaxation

It's so hard to keep on top of things sometimes - (oo, if you rearrange that sentence, it could be from one of my stories...)
I'm currently promoting A Clockwork Butterfly - my futuristic erotic romance - I'm doing a tour where you can win a copy so check out my blog to see the dates if you fancy doing that ;)
And the paperback will be coming out in November - so I still have to check over the files - just when I found a spare second to do that - another story came back with an urgent deadline...
I do love flying by the seat of my pants - thank goodness!

But I'm just wondering - how to people fit everything in? I'm sure my workload must appear minimal to many of my fellow writers but I am swamped! Oh dear, that reminds me, 2 story deadlines next week...

So with all this in mind - I've been thinking about holidays - how many of you truly relax on vacation? Does it take a while before you finally unwind enough to feel that you are 'away form it all'? - Like the day before you're due to come home again!
How about we all just stop for a month in the summer?
What do you do to relax? (apart from snuggling up with a good Beachwalk Book ;D )

See you soon -

Good morning ladies!

Well look what I woke up to this morning!

Good Morning
Lovely

Ladies!
Ok, so maybe it's not the man candy Lacey gave us yesterday - but my goodness - aren't they LUSH!
When I was at college we went on a trip to the art gallery and one painting was a gorgeous vibrant oil of a bouquet of flowers - the guide said - "Of course, when one studies this painting, one can see it's not really about flowers at all - but women." - I smiled and said, yes, but had no idea what he was on about, until I got older and saw some images by Georgia O'Keefe...

So anyhoo, I thought I'd share these with you today

Countdown to launch!

Hi there!

Well, some of you may know that nerves have been getting the better of me recently - my novel, A Clockwork Butterfly is due for release in less than a week and I seem to have just fallen apart! It's very odd, I have been writing erotic romance for almost 2 years now but still, every release is scary - I think it's excitement in disguise!

Anyway - I was talking to my sister last night and she completely kicked my ass about my nervous nonsense - she told be to stop being so pathetic and that if she did what I was doing she'd shout out - "I'm a jazz writer and I'm proud!"

"Get over yourself," she told me, "and enjoy it!"

And that's what I plan to do... so with that in mind, here is the trailer for my new book which is out on Monday the 18th and is all about saving the world - erotica style!

Thanks for taking a  look x x x x
